La temàtica és bàsicament paisatgística i d’oci (Riera d’Arenys, platges, camps de conreu); d’arquitectura religiosa (interior de l’església de Santa Maria d’Arenys, retaules); d’arquitectura relacionada amb els estudis de la Masia Catalana (Torre dels Encantats, masos amb terres de conreu); obra civil (línia ferroviària); etnografia (pagès amb barretina, pesca, escenes costumistes) i arqueologia.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; ]]></content:encoded><content:encoded><![CDATA[08006-382]]></content:encoded><content:encoded><![CDATA[Carrer del Paradís, número 10 (08002 - Barcelona)]]></content:encoded><content:encoded><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;El Centre Excursionista de Catalunya (CEC) és una entitat fundada l’any 1890 a partir del la fusió de dues entitats, l’Associació Catalanista d’Excursions Científiques i l’Associació d’Excursions Catalana. L’any 1923, l’industrial Rafael Patxot i Jubert (1872-1964) encarrega un projecte ideat per ell mateix al Centre Excursionista de Catalunya, amb l’objectiu d’editar una gran obra de referència de la masia sota tots els seus aspectes, no només arquitectònicament sinó també de mobiliari, indumentària i etnològic. El director del projecte de “l’Estudi de la Masia” serà l’arquitecte Josep Danès i Torras (1895-1955). S’envolta d’un equip extraordinari que treballarà per tot Catalunya fotografiant i donant a conèixer el ric patrimoni no només a través de la fotografia sinó també a partir de la difusió, a partir de conferències i articles. L’aventura queda interrompuda amb la fugida de Patxot a l’exili tot just començada la Guerra Civil, l’any 1936. Durant aquest període de temps (10 anys) es realitzaran 7.705 imatges d’unes 1.500 masies.
