- <p style='text-align: justify;'>On the first weekend of October, Cardedeu dresses up to the nines to say farewell to the summer, journeying back in time to the Cardedeu of the turn of the 20<sup>th</sup> century, when well-to-do Barcelona families had grand houses built for them in the town to spend the summer there. There are lots of activities in Plaça de Sant Joan, along with a dramatised tour of modernist Cardedeu, accompanied by music.</p>
