- <p>Tradition has it that the feast day of Sant Antoni Abat (Saint Anthony the Great) is the day on which to pay tribute to muleteers and animals. And that’s why <strong>beasts of burden</strong> and <strong>carriages </strong>are the star attractions of <em>La Corrida</em> Festival in Puig-reig. In this town of the Berguedà region, they also take the opportunity to celebrate one of the most important local industries, namely cured sausage making, with a fair. The most spectacular moment is in the afternoon, when the <strong>horse, mule and donkey races take place</strong>, also known as <em>corrides</em>.</p>
